About Our Preschool Program

The PUSD Preschool Program ensures all children have a start toward college, career, and life readiness. We provide a safe, nurturing, high-quality learning environment that respects each child's unique needs, language, and culture. Our mission is to inspire young learners to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically, building a solid foundation for lifelong learning and success.

How to Enroll

Choose the enrollment option that fits your child: New Student Enrollment or Continuing Student Registration for the 2026–2027 school year.

2026-2027 New Student Enrollment (Starting February 2, 2026)

This is for any student that is new to PUSD, including Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students, even if their siblings are already PUSD students.

Continuing Student Registration (March 2 - 31, 2026)

This registration option is for students currently enrolled in Poway Unified schools grades Preschool-11, who will be returning for the 2026-2027 school year.

Preschool Program Options

The Poway Unified School District's Preschool Department offers two preschool programs that serve the diverse needs of our community:

• Family Fee Preschool Program - available to families who prefer to pay monthly tuition.
• California State Preschool Program (CSPP) - free or low-cost preschool for families who meet state income and eligibility guidelines.
